Remember the name of God always, always read the sacred texts.  

Do not give up food or pleasure trips, but always be fixed in Him (God).

It will please God.

Treat with due respect who ever may come to you. Give water to the thirsty, food to the hungry, cloths to the unclothed and shelter to the destitute. It will please God.

Without unflinching Faith and Patience, you will not see God. One who has both these will undoubtedly find Him

Ours ways are Unique. Meditating on my form single-minded itself is act of propitiating (Win or regain the favor of (a god, spirit, or person) by doing something that pleases them). 

When the repeated contemplation becomes perfect

When the repeated contemplation becomes perfect and the difference between the meditation and meditator  disappears, then the mind becomes calm and steady, like the lamp on the windless night. This is Samadhi.

I am always in you

There is no need to go far to find Me. I am always in you. Forget your name and form. What remains ? That supreme consciousness is Myself. You see Me in yourself and in all beings. He who loves Me thus and meditates on Me surely comes to Me. This is the truth supreme. 

There should be steadfast faith that Guru
