The path of Brahma-Jnana (Self-realization)

The path of Brahma-Jnana (Self-realization) is very difficult; it is not easily attainable by one and all. It reveals itself to fortunate one when his fortune is in ascendancy.

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 16, Verse 74.

More remarkable than these is the Guru

More remarkable than these (Ganesh and Mahendra) is the Guru. For there is no benefactor like the Guru who will reveal the hard attained Brahman to his devotee, when he is pleased.

Shri Sai Satcharita Chapter 16, Verse 51.

You cannot know Me

You cannot know Me until the moment you know yourself. Since I know Myself, I know you, in and out.

Traverse the path

We have to chalk out, and traverse the path of self-realization ourselves.

Unless man has turned away from wickedness and stopped from doing wrong, and has entirely composed himself, and unless his mind is at rest, he cannot gain self-realization even by means of knowledge.

To him the self reveals its nature.

The self cannot be gained by the study of Vedas, nor by intellect nor by much learning, He, whom the self chooses, gains it. To him the self reveals its nature.

Duties and self-realization

Unless a man discharges satisfactorily and disinterestedly the duties of his station in life, his mind will not be purified and unless his mind is purified, he cannot get self-realization. 

who listens to my stories with faith and devotion

The devotee, who listens to my stories with faith and devotion will have Self-realization, which will bring in tune, both his Jiva (Atma) and Shiva (Brahman).
