The devotee, who listens to my stories with faith and devotion will have Self-realization, which will bring in tune, both his Jiva (Atma) and Shiva (Brahman).

Let His man (Devotee) be at any distance

Let His man (Devotee) be at any distance, a thousand koss away from Him, he will be drawn to Shirdi like a sparrow, with a thread tied to its feet

Devotees could never approach Me unless

Devotees could never approach Me unless I meant to receive them.

Look how I have to suffer for my devotees

To everybody Sai Baba showed plague boils on his thighs and said, " Look how I have to suffer for my devotees. My devotees sufferings, I consider my own."

I have to take thought for my devotees

I will do the I will not allow my devotees to come to harm. I have to take thought for my devotees. And if a devotee is about to fall, I stretch out my hands, and thus with four, four, outstretched hands at time to support him, I will not let him fall.

Whom has he got except me?

I alone have to shoulder the responsibility for carrying devotees across. Whom has he got except me?

Simply say “Sai” “Sai” with heart overflowing.

Simply say “Sai” “Sai” with heart overflowing. I care not for show of respect and forms, I rest in such devotees.

There should be a steadfast faith that Guru alone is protector and destroyer. 

The tender glance of the Guru is as a shower of nectar

The tender glance of the Guru is as a shower of nectar, which brings to the disciple the nourishment of self-rejoicing.  

There is not slightest difference between these three.

The innermost self is God himself and He who is God is also the Guru. There is not slightest difference between these three. 

How fascinating was my Guru's school

How fascinating was my Guru's school! So much so that I forgot my fond attachment to my parents; the chain of delusion, attachment was broken and I was liberated, quite effortlessly. 

I felt like embracing the Guru

Bonds which are undesirable were totally snapped and the bondage that obstructs spiritual inclination was severed. I felt like embracing the Guru, storing up his image in the eyes themselves.  

Guru's school to me.

Unless my Guru's image lives in the eyes all the time, the eyes will be but two balls of flesh. Or, I would rather be blind without his image. Such was the great importance of the Guru's school to me.

All my sense organs

All my sense organs, including the mind, had left their places and come to stay in my eyes alone, for the purpose of meditating upon the Guru.

Trust in the Guru fully and wholeheartedly.

Trust in the Guru fully and wholeheartedly. Leave off all doubts. That is the only Sadhana. Guru is God. Guru is everything. He is your mother, father, well wisher, relative and true friend. Seeing all as Guru is the highest state and he who feels Him in every creature verily becomes Myself. 

Treat with due respect whoever may come to you

Treat with due respect whoever may come to you. Give water to the thirsty, food to the hungry, clothes to the unclothed and shelter to the destitute. It will please God.

Others may rebuke you in a hundred and one ways

Others may rebuke you in a hundred and one ways , but you yourself should never use bitter hurting words in reply. You will experience unbounded happiness, if you bear with them patiently.

One has to reap what one sows, and there is no escape unless one suffers and squares up one's old debts and dealings with others. Greed for money drags the greedy man to the lowest level and ultimately brings destruction on him and others.

Be the real and true sons of the mother (Dwarakamai) and fully stock your magazine. What is to become of us (i.e. this bodily life)? Earth will return to earth, and air (breath) will return to the air. This opportunity (human body) will not return.

This is Dwarakamayi of ours on which you are sitting. This wards off all danger and anxieties from her children. Highly merciful is this Masidi Ayi. She is the mother of those who place their entire faith in Her. If they are in danger, She will save them. Once a person climbs on Her lap, all his troubles are over.
