Devotion and Mind

When the rich, fertile soil of the mind is sprinkled with the water of devotion, the rapture thereof, bursts forth. Avoiding of birth and death.

He cannot gain self-realization even by means of knowledge

Unless man has turned away from wickedness and stopped from doing wrong, and has entirely composed himself, and unless his mind is at rest, he cannot gain self-realization even by means of knowledge.

If anybody comes and abuses you

If anybody comes and abuses you or punishes you, do not quarrel with him. If you cannot endure it, speak a simple word or two, or else leave the place.

Always be attached to the Saints

Always be attached to the Saints; listen to their tales and worship their feet so that all the sins are washed away. 

If anybody is angry with another

If anybody is angry with another, he wounds me to the quick. If anyone abuses another, I feel pain. If anyone bravely endures the abuse, I feel highly pleased.

I get angry with none

I get angry with none. Will the mother get angry with the children? Will the ocean send back waters from several rivers.

You see My Guru was a great saint

You see My Guru was a great saint, an ocean of compassion. I went on serving Him till I was exhausted, but He would never whisper any mantra in my ear.

Avoid speaking words which will sting and hurt

He should avoid speaking words which will sting and hurt and not strike anyone on the vital spot . But should always engage himself in pure , virtuous deeds , keeping his mind , all the time ,firmly on his duty .

The four paths of Karma

The four paths of Karma (action) Jnana (Knowledge), Yoga and Bhakti (devotion) are for the attainment
of God. They all lead you to God realisation.

Wealth should be the means to work out Dharma

Wealth should be the means to work out Dharma. If it is used for personal enjoyment, it is wasted. Unless you have given it before, you do not get now. So the best way to receive is to give. 

If one meditates on Me, I will stay by his side always

If one meditates on Me, repeats My name, sings My deeds, and is thus transformed into Me, his karma is destroyed. I will stay by his side always.
