My Master says, 'Take, O take this Away!'

My Master says, 'Take, O take this Away!' everyone say, 'Give, give only to me!' (material things). But no one heeds to my words. No one listens to me attentively. 

What my Master gives me is real 'giving'.

What my Master gives me is real 'giving'. How can anyone else's compare with it, ever? How can limited be compared with the boundless? 

When God gives something

How can that suffice what somebody gives you? However much it is, it is always inadequate. But when God gives something, it has no end, even to the end of time. 

When as the result of meditating on the form of Guru

When as the result of meditating on the form of Guru the working of the mind cease. One ultimately makes an obeisance to Him, observing speechless silence.

A firmly rooted, unwavering faith is necessary

A firmly rooted, unwavering faith is necessary to believe that the Guru is God Himself, who pervades this entire animate and inanimate Universe, from the inside and outside. 

When Guru alone is the object of meditation

When Guru alone is the object of meditation for the eyes and else is as Guru himself, so that there is nothing seperate from him, then it is called single-minded meditation. 

His mind will become one with God

He who looks up to me single mindedly, narrates and listens to my Self-Purifying tales and is devoted to none other then me, his mind will become one with God. 

He should avoid speaking words which will sting and hurt.

He should avoid speaking words which will sting and hurt. He should not strike anyone on vital spot. But should always engage himself in pure, virtuous deeds, keeping his mind, all the time, firmly on his duty. 

But never will my simple, faithful devotee be without me.

Sweetness may depart from jaggery, the sea from its waves and the eye from it sparkle; but never will my simple, faithful devotee be without me.
